Shopping for a PlayStation 5? Getting your hands on a coveted PS5 console doesn’t have to cost a fortune. Luckily, there’s a PS5 sale at Best Buy and other major retailers.

According to a report from last year, Sony’s PS5 was one of the hottest Christmas gifts for 2022, but finding one for the $499 retail price isn’t as stressful as it used to be, thanks in part to a growing number of retailers that sell the popular gaming console. Availability could change on limited-edition consoles such as the Spider-Man PS5 out next month, but gamers can score deals on other special editions such as the Final Fantasy XVI and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II bundles.

Retailers such as Best Buy, Amazon, GameStop, Target and Walmart (and even Groupon) are offering sales on PS5 consoles and PS5 bundles available right now.

To make your search easier, we put together a list of a few places where you can grab the best PS5 deals online. Regular priced PS5 consoles and bundles can run you anywhere $500 to around $900. Keep reading for more details, links and pricing information.

PS5 console restocks tend to sell out extremely fast at Amazon (and everywhere else, to be honest). For gamers who have been waiting to snag a console for less than $500 (the Horizon Forbidden bundle is more expensive), Amazon previously offered an option to sign up for a chance to buy a PS5 at the regular retail price but you no longer have to request and invitation, just click the buy button below to purchase a console on sale.

There are new and used PS5 consoles available at Amazon, but most are usually marked up above the list price. Right now, used PS5 consoles at Amazon are priced at around $450 up to $550.

Meanwhile at Best Buy, regular PS5 consoles are on sale for $449.99, while God of War Ragnarok PS5 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II bundles start at $489.99.

The Final Fantasy 16 bundle is marked down $50 to $509.99 at Best Buy and starting at $569.95 at Amazon.

The bundle includes a PS5 console, DualSense wireless controller, Base, HDMI cable, AC power cord, USB cable and Final Fantasy XVI full game voucher.

Walmart launched a members-only PS5 restock in February 2022, and it sold out within hours, which means the price went right back up. On the plus side, you can currently find a PS5 console on sale at Walmart for $449.

When restocks sell out, PS5 consoles can cost hundreds more than you would usually pay. Because there are regular-priced PS5s at Best Buy and other retailers, we searched for some even cheaper options. Stock X, for example, has consoles for around $380 and up, which is a bit less than on some of the other websites. Ebay is another resource for PS5 consoles for around $255 and up.

If you’re comfortable with higher price points, QVC has PS5 bundles for around $850.

Bundles are another way to ensure that you get a console — and maybe even save a little on the back end depending on the retailers. Walmart has bundles as well, such as the PS5 Disc Version Console with gaming headset bundle ($859), the PS5 Mightyskins Bundle ($539.99), and this PS5 Disc Version Console with Pro Gamer Starter Pack Bundle ($619).
