Still buzzing from his viral hit “Bel Mercy,” which was released in late 2022 via Parlophone Records’ FFFR imprint, Jengi is back with his first single of the year, delivering a sublime dance cut with “Da Feeling.”

Jengi’s first single in six months, the intoxicating track finds him curating an instant dance classic, fully equipped with groovy basslines and irresistible keys. Expertly calling back to 90s house music aesthetics, “Da Feeling” revives “The Feeling” by Sweet Tee and Tin Tin Out, the original project of founding GFDM member Darren Stokes, which in turn sampled vocals from Sweet Tee’s 1998 single “I Got Da Feelin’.”

The rising star is poised for a big 2024 after his explosive performance at Tomorrowland Winter, and he’s gearing up for sets at prestigious venues such as Amsterdam’s Melkweg and London’s Ministry of Sound.

“Even though I was too young to experience the late 80s/90s, I am fascinated by this house era and the groovy and melodic tracks that were created in that period of time,” Jengi said. “With ‘Da Feeling’ I have tried to bring back a little flavor of that time with the vocals of old-school rapper Sweet Tee.”
