Chase & Status Are Headlining a Secret Launch Party for "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III"

Chase & Status have been confirmed as the headliners of a secret party to launch the new Call of Duty, representatives of the game told EDM.com.

In collaboration with Activision and Universal Music, the influential drum & bass duo on November 9th will perform in London ahead of the long-awaited unveiling of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. The game will then release the following day.

With breakneck drums that whizz through their music like a sniper’s bullet, Chase & Status are an ideal fit to launch the hotly anticipated first-person shooter game. The “Baddadan” producers are fresh off a viral, rip-roaring Boiler Room set in London, where they left a trail of destruction in their wake as the drum & bass genre continues its furious resurgence.

Ahead of the launch, Chase & Status and their frequent collaborator Bou will drop three missions from October 26-29. 25 winners of those missions will then receive the location of the secret Chase & Status gig, where they’ll have the opportunity to play Modern Warfare III before anyone else.

Gamers can also enter to attend the show by solving three missions. The first launched today, October 26th, and subsequent missions will go live daily. The competitions will remain open until October 31st at 23:59.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III is scheduled to release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC via Battle.net and Steam starting November 10th. The pre-order for campaign early access starts on November 2nd.
