Breakout Producer Hamdi Makes Deadbeats Debut With "Counting"

“Counting” is a strong follow-up to the many tunes that have solidified Hamdi’s hold over the 140 BPM renaissance. Princess Superstar’s catchy vocals tie in effortlessly with the U.K. producer’s grinding bass and languid percussion. “Counting” is yet another formidable release showing that his reign isn’t ending anytime soon.

Hamdi, who has a hotly anticipated collaboration with Skrillex on the horizon, has been unstoppable in 2023. 2021’s breakthrough, “Skanka,” and its VIP version has been trending all year long, receiving support from the industry’s biggest players, like Porter Robinson, Marshmello and John Summit. Skrillex also dropped it during his historic Coachella headlining performance alongside Fred again.. and Four Tet.
